I got a email from the wonderful ladies over at Glam.com asking for testing for this new product out on the market called Rejuvawand. Being that I do have a few lines in my face I am not too happy about I send a email back going sure why not?

Ok I get this box from Glam with the rejuvawand in it along with the skincare system that they have as well. The only thing that wasn’t in the box was the night cream but ok night cream I have. So I open the box and the first thing that came to mind and lets see if you thought the same thing I did.

Ok I see I am not the only one who has just a little bit of a dirty mind. And the darn thing vibrates when its on your skin! Oh please its just too funny!! Are there any women reading this who as had a baby? Ok remember the sonigram (spelling?) when they are checking for the baby’s heart beat for the first time? When this uses the gel like that does.

I had to tell Julieta over at Glam.com this: “I’m looking for a baby in my face!!” Because that is what it feels like, you put on the gel and then you run the wand over the areas that you want to remove your wrinkles at. I got told I crack her up with my silly thoughts and I also heard that there are at least 9 others beauty bloggers who are field testing this product. Ok so once I got over the fact of what it looked like, what it reminded me of, and how it just made me giggle at the whole idea I decided it was time to test this thing out.

We were all asked if we could take a mug shot like picture to show that after 30 days if this wand really does do what it says. (Yes I have one, and NO you don’t get to see it till I have another one done in 30 days) Ok I got five spots I decided I wanted to do. I have two lines in between my eyes that just got to go, the super fine lines under my eyes and my smile lines. Why not ok? If this works as well as they are promoting it to do, then I should have a new face in thirty days.. right? If you visit the site you can try it out for free for 30 days then they hit your credit card for $199. the idea is you just pay for shipping. So if you really want you can test this out yourself for 30 days or you can wait to hear what all of us that are testing it from Glam.com tell you our thoughts about it and if it really does do what they are saying it will do.

You have to charge it for 24 hours and it stays on its charger when you are not using it. After charging it I decided it was time to test this wand out. To be honest I don’t care for their cleanser because I have dry skin and it made my skin feel really tight but if you are using the wand they would want you to use their cleanser as well. So it if you have dry skin just remember that it will feel dry tight and I hate that feeling!! Any whoo I cleanse my face after removing my makeup and decided what spot to try it out on first. It has two settings, one is Red Light Treatment which is a red wavelength first. The second day is Infrared Light Treatment you do one and then the next day you do the next treatment, and so on for 30 plus days.

Did you know that 4 minutes is a long time when you are doing something?? I have to do this 5 times?? Oh my I did it the first day with my iPod in my ears cause its seems like it takes FOREVER to do it. Could I do this everyday? I don’t know but then if it does do what it says it does then well maybe.. One thing they say is the light doesn’t hurt your eyes, and that fact is for sure. You don’t look into the light and as you are doing under your eyes, just close your eyes. That is what I been doing.

When you use it I found two problems with so far, one four minutes its a long time but it does turn it self off so you know when it its time to do go on to the next spot. BUT If you only use a drop of gel it dries up faster than the amount of time you are to use on one spot. So I have been using more than they say cause it doesn’t last.That is problem number one that I have found.

Problem two is I don’t have a fat face, sorry but that is my face (your face maybe different so you may not have this problem) when it vibrates on my face I kept hitting my cheekbone under my eyes and my forehead the lines I want it to work on, also kept hitting bone. So you feel the gentle vibration as they put it, but when you keep hitting the bones in your face, four minutes it does hurt a little. After the first day, the morning after I felt it. My face was a little tender from using it. Also I had to use more day cream that usual because my face was a bit drier than normal. So I felt it they called it gentle massage.. ahh no I have had facials before and I didn’t feel a little bit of pain the next day but you have to understand with this is everyone’s face is going to be different. You have have a little but of fat in your face where I do not. I lost lots of weight in the past 4 months and a lot of it came from my face as well.

I been testing it for 5 days now and I still think that 4 minutes feels like forever and because I have 5 spots I am working on thats more than 30 minutes I am doing this each night. After the third day I didn’t feel my face was a tender as it was but I still have to use more gel than they say and more cream at night as well as the day than I usually use. Do I see a difference yet? No but I did notice that after I do a spot on my face, such as my lines in between my eyebrows that it looked plumped up, but it doesn’t last. If it did then the lines I want gone, would look great.. I will give a up-date about the rejuvawand again in 5 days or so. You can visit their site at http://www.rejuvawand.com and giggle too.

Even lades in Julieta office is testing it, I think.. At least they came to the same thought I did when I saw it for the first time. I made her giggle about what I thought… Thats one of the amazing things about Glam is they got great women you can email and they will do things like ask for testers.. ME? Testing things its too much fun and I couldn’t turn down the idea…

With Halloween just around the corner many of us are starting to think about what costume can I get my hands on that is going to make me win that contest I didn’t win last year. As well as just how should my makeup look like if I find just the right costume. Ok so that was me thinking that, I’m a makeup junkie..

Anyone going to be in a contest knows that if you don’t look like Marilyn then no matter how you act or what you wear, the look isn’t finish without having your face is made up to look just like her. Marilyn had a signature look and many have tried to copy it, what if you had something that shown you step by step how to do her makeup?

Most men we all know really dig looking like dawn of dead, covered with fake blood and scars, but not all women want to look the same. What if you got this amazing Belly Dancer costume that you just can’t wait wear? How about having your makeup helping you look ever hotter than the costume alone will?

Having got my hands on the DVD Halloween Makeup Collection was just pure delight for me!

 Imagine this:

You get a plain box in the mail, you open it up and this is what you see a box with black and pink packing paper, a DVD, a set of pink handled makeup brushes in a little bag as well as a set of false eyelashes.. Looking like a gift just for you!

It looks like it cost me more than the starting out price of $9.95 I mean I would give any of my friends this gift because it looks like it cost way more than it does!  Not only is this a great idea for Halloween, just how many parties do you know of that you need to wear a costume for? You could use this DVD any time of year. And it doesn’t matter where you live in the world, I found out they will ship it to you because it means so much to the creators that you have makeup tips that you can really use!

In fact one of the ladies used in this DVD is one of the creators, talk about willing to make this work! I was watching the DVD and I noticed that the girls they used were not models. You know those type that are super thin, look down their noses at you because they are a size 0 and you are not? Well I asked about how they got the girls for this the makeup and I was told that they used girls you would find anywhere. They could of used models but then it would of make you the buyers of this DVD not feel like you could do the makeup. They asked for girls young and older and it didn’t matter if you had acne or not. To me that shows that they care as much for this DVD as they do for you. I was surprised to hear that. The creators are make movies so they could have had no problem to ask models to do this. In fact their makeup artist works for a MAJOR makeup brand and she believed so much in this that she was willing to work on it showing you her tips and tricks that she really shouldn’t be showing you.

Another thing I noticed that they didn’t use one brand of makeup. Should they did some colors of eye shadows by a major brand but only because that color is what they wanted to use not because they are pushing that brand. You can use any makeup so you don’t have to go out and buy a ton of eye shadows and lipsticks just to do these looks. You can use any brand as well as the makeup brushes!

I was totally impressed by the quality of the makeup tips that you get, 200 minutes of makeup tips all on one DVD! It was like having a makeup artist right there showing me step by step how to do 13 different looks. Now I did see that if you wanted to use these looks for other costumes it would as well. The genie look would work for a belly dancer costume. You can trade any of the costume they used for something else that wasn’t the real point it was showing you how to do your makeup to look as sexy and hot as you wanted! Anyone standing in front of a haunted house this year? Those ladies are usually a witch so why not be a sexy witch?

When I put the DVD in the first time I got something to drink and put my feet up, well that didn’t last long as I started to watch one of the looks, I got so into watching it I started taking notes on how to do it! You can watch this DVD over and over again, review, rewind so you can make sure you have the look just right.

I started looking to see if there are anything else on the market that was like this, only to find this was the first! Most Halloween web sites are all how to do scars, burns, cuts etc nothing about how to be Marilyn or a cool looking pirate. The creators are Electric Bear Studios out of FL and they really know their stuff!

Even if you don’t do Halloween wouldn’t you just love to have something that shows you really cool makeup looks that will have you wowing them at the next costume party at the office? You can tame the looks down and you have makeup tips you can’t find anywhere else! That alone gives you value for your money.. Its only $9.95 till October 31^st then it goes back to the real price of $14.95 even then its still worth way more than that!

There is 200 minutes of real makeup tips that you can use at any time of the year, and I totally recommend Halloween Collection DVD for anyone looking for makeup tips that you can use anytime.

I got to go now, I heard that Elvira, Mistress of the Darkness is looking for the next Elvira to take her place and I wait to watch how her makeup was done cause you never know, wouldn’t you just love to be the next Mistress of the Darkness?

Ok Ok so I have never worn dark nail polish before! In fact it kind of scared me, yeah me! Till my buddy Cindy owner of BB Couture Nail Polish decided that me being scared of dark nail polish just had to be stopped! She sends me two boxes of nail polish she is offering, one box the colors of the Juke Box Collection and one box of colors she hasn’t even released yet!

Me being the curious type had to see what colors were coming out, (in Nov. btw) and there is the purple in there I had to play with. Now I have something else of hers that I will be adding to the site as soon as I take a picture of it called “EXTREME ROCK” which has a story all to itself. This purple I had to try is because I have never seen such a color before..  It comes with glitter in it. I tried it on and when wow what a purple!
Its a royal purple with two colors of glitter in in. So I had to call Cindy and asked her what the name of this color is going to be.. I was thinking Wicked Step Mother… I was told its going to be called Dragon’s Breath cause they wanted to stay away from other fairy tale stores. BUT she told me if I had called two weeks before than I might of named it!

I went to the NailPro show over the weekend and guess who I got to meet in person?? Cindy!!  (She gave me a VIP Ticket!) It was so awesome to finally put a face to the voice I been hearing on the phone for the past 3 years. The NailPro Show was as cool as always I got the goody bag again cause I was there in time.. The first 200 got in their bags a Top Rock by BB Couture and so gets one??? ME! In the cutest pink bag with a card showing off the newest colors out right now, not Dragon’s Breath but the Jukebox Collection  which are really dark as well. Its that time of year again… Dark rules!! I have to take my dark polish off tonight cause I got to go somewhere tomorrow that doesn’t want to see dark polish on my nails.. brats! Thats ok.. it will be back!
