I was catching up on my reading today in my Glamour mag. In it there was a very interesting points made about Botox. Now I know its a good thing if you really want a smooth forehead and look like you have no lines at 50 years old. Go for it, I am one of those who refuse to do it.
Why skip the needle? A lot has already been said about Botox but did you know that there are now scientific studies that are studying whether or not it actually accelerate skin aging!
Wow thats not what it should be doing right? “The latest advances in neuroscience have shown us just how important fully functioning nerve ending are in younger-looking skin.” Saids De Benetti. If Botox works by stopping the nerve endings from releasing a chemical that influences muscle contraction, then there’s no doubt in my mind that it weakens nerve endings.The jury is still out on this, but if you are considering having Botox don’t see it as a way to inhibit wrinkles. You can build a resistance to Botox.” says Dr. Cohen

Wow so think about this little fact, if you are in the thirties and having Botox done to prevent wrinkles from forming, by the time your my age (mid forties) you may not be able to have it any longer cause it stopped working. Its what $300. a shot every 3 to 4 months? The best thing you can do really is watch your diet and 
take care of your skin that you have. Look into natural anti=aging skincare such as Alexa44 eye cream. Its the best on the market and I personally use it.

And the answer is no there isn’t any animal by products in Magic Lash. But it was a interesting question for sure don’t you think? I called about this because I got a email with these question(s) in it:
“Hello,
I would like to know if your Magic Lash Eyelash Enhancer is tested on animals and if it has any animal by products in it? I would also like to know if the mascara that comes with it is tested on animals and if it also has any animal by products in it… Please let me know as soon as possible… thank you”
So I did some calls to be sure on both questions. No they have not been tested on animals and no Magic Lash doesn’t have any animal by-products BUT I don’t know if this is a problem for anyone but Black Magic Mascara does have Bee’s Wax as one of its ingredients.
Now if I understand correctly that is a by product of bee’s and that is something that those who are vegan stay away from. Because Bee’s Wax is thought of as a by product of bee’s right? Because I know that honey is something vegan’s choose not to use or eat. I do know someone who’s vegan products I should be offering soon, I will ask her and get back to you on this.
But don’t be afraid to correct me on my vegan facts ok? And please go right ahead and correct me cause I don’t know for sure. Thanks for the emails and your questions because I learn something new today about Magic Lash as well.

Mother’s day has always been a day that each of us show our appreciation for all the ladies in our lives. Still, not all guys know just what their special lady may like. Just because she is married to you or it’s your mom, gifts still should come from the heart.
Here are a few gift ideas for guys to give their special lady.
1~ There is the old stand by, card, flowers and or chocolates. These gifts are always good but if this is what you gave last year why not look for something new?
2~ Why not create a coupon book filled with things you know she would love?
Ideas for such a coupon book can be:
Clean the bathroom without complaining
Take the children out for lunch by yourself
Wash the family car
Give her a gift card for her favorite nail care salon
Take her out to dinner
Give a back massage
Take her out to dinner
Hugs and Kisses
Make dinner > not from fast food, really make dinner!
Take care of the children while she is at the spa
Gift card for the spa
Put these in a simple notebook and offer it with your gift of flowers. Talk about a special surprise! If you have children have them help decorate the note book with hearts and crayons.
3~ Many stores and websites have personalized gift baskets. You might be able to create or have created a gift basket with all her favorite bath and body goodies. Body lotions, bath bubbles, bath puff, bath salts, bath pillows, candles, shower gels, body scrubs, body soaps can all be in her favorite scent. Gift wrapping may be offered as well.
4~ Take the children out and help them find a simple gift that they can gift wrap themselves. A candle is a great idea for this. Taking time with your children is good for you as well, and helping them find the special gift for mom helps them show their love. Showing mom they love her is the best gift they could ever give.
5~ New wife who maybe having a baby soon? Why not check with her doctor and see if she is able to have a pedicure done? It’s a great gift for anyone who maybe pregnant to have someone pamper their feet for them. It’s very relaxing and soothing when you know she has swollen ankles and feet.
6~ Single guys? Why not take your mom out to dinner? Just because you might be single and there isn’t a special lady in your life, your mom would still love to see you. Doesn’t matter how old you might be, your mom will always be part of your life, taking her out to dinner is the best gift you could give. She would love to hear what is going on in your life.
Mother’s Day may come around only once a year doesn’t mean you can’t show her you love her everyday with simple things. Give a helping hand and show her you appreciate all that she does everyday is the best gift you can give no matter if it’s your mom or wife.
