I got a really neat email couple days ago from a gentleman over at http://www.tantowel.com
He asked me in the kindest words if I would be interested in trying their product and then review about it. Me? wow what a idea.

So I did some research on self-tanners. I am super fair skinned and do not believe in baking in the sun to get that all over glow. I used to live in Las Vegas where sun tanning is the norm!

Or as Coco Chanel back in the 1920’s after visiting the tropics on vacation once said : the suntan a “fashion accessory”.

Boy was she wrong! With skin cancer on a all time high, young ladies are still running to the tanning salon to get that all over tan not realizing how much they will pay for it later on in life.

A quote from one of the papers that ran a article about self tanning put the tan towel like this:

The $4 Tan. Tan Towels (www.tantowel.com) are like Handiwipes with self-tanner on them.
They give a color that is so subtle you might just catch it if you looked long enough but nevertheless makes you feel like you have participated in what we might as well designate a new urban summer ritual. They also make terrific party favors.

The New York Times

I am waiting on a package from them and can’t wait to try it out. But the only thing I haven’t been able to find it, just how long does it last after you apply it? A day, couple of days? That will be the first thing I am looking forward to finding out on my own. I will up date you on the tan towels after I have had a chance to work with it.
