Just how loyal are you to the brands of makeup, skincare, bath and body products you use everyday?

I was reading somewhere today about how some of the major brands of clothing, purses and makeup were lowing their prices again as a way to get people into their stores to buy.

Other brands were not, in fact they up their prices for the coming year and still have tons of buyers. What is the reasons behind this trend?

One of their examples was cigarettes. The woman they talked said she was cutting back on name brand products she usually buys but for her brand of cigarettes. It didn’t matter to her the cost of the pack because smoking was a luxury she wasn’t going to give up and her brand was the only brand she had been smoking for years.

Another example was a woman with young children, she cut back on the brands of makeup she wears and buying any new clothes for herself but she refuses to give up her organic milk and fresh produce.

Are you brand loyal? I was thinking about this when I was putting on my makeup today and came to realize that yes I was, I am in fact in many ways brand loyal. Only the brands I happen to be loyal to are also brands I offer on my website Overall Beauty.com.

You think yeah sure because you can get them cheaper. Not so. I love lip plumpers! I happen to offer Ella Blue’s Lip Plumpers on my website. If you were to order one today I would get yours at wholesale prices, I go in and say its for me I too pay the exact same price as you do, $18.00 for one. So no just because I might offer it doesn’t mean that I get them at a cheaper price.

Low down on what I was putting on today that made me come to conclusion that I was in fact brand loyal.

Mascara today was Serjame’s Salon Black Mascara because I’m out of Toma Black Magic Mascara. I use them both!

Thinking about everything I use for makeup and skincare made me come to another interesting thought, do you know anyone who offers other brands besides their own in their online stores that is also as brand loyal as it turns I am?

It wasn’t till I really had to think about it did I figure out just how brand loyal I am!

My question to you is this, just because things are tight all over, do you give up on everything that you enjoy that maybe a name brand product (talking Macy’s price products not your local drugstore prices) or just buy the few that you use the most that you know you just can’t live without? What makeup products brand or otherwise you refuse to give up no matter what? Got a favorite eye shadow brand? Got a favorite mascara? Or foundation? Have you tried the cheaper brands only to go back to your favorite higher price brand because it was better after all?
