Everyone loves a good candle. One that lasts as long as they say, smells yummy and burns clean. This week we got to test out just such a candle by Essential Stuff, as well as a sample of their body wash and body lotion.
The candle I receive to test out was one of the best smelling candles I have had the change to burn in a while. Its not soy based like I like but burn?? On my gosh! When they say it will burn for 130 plus hours they were not kidding!
The candle I received was from their Wick.ed stuff collection scent: orange-mango.

The company is called Essential Stuff and they are out of Los Angeles, CA area. When I talked with the owner Cameron Hall, he told me they had been in business for about 10 years now. So I had to ask why they went into the candle making business?
The company was started on the idea of offering a real smelling product, that wasn’t all flowery and over perfumed. We have all smelled candles like that, they make me sick and I have to leave the room when they are burning. (I have asthma and can’t handle a lot of candle scents) They wanted to offer products that were real scents and not sweet. Make sense.
I really love the candle, body wash was really good, didn’t care for the body lotion. Not the scent which was really nice by the way, but for the fact it was to me runny. I like body lotions that are a lot more creamer. When I tried it for the first time I got too much out of the bottle all over my hands. But that was just me..

They do candles for big name companies as well. I got one of the nite in a can candle that is so cute!! It smells like someone just baked pumpkin pie!! They last longer than one time as well. Cute tins cost about $6.00 each.
All in all this is one candle company that is worth the price. I am busy drooling over another of their 4×5 candles, just can’t decide which scent!!
