I went to have my highlights touched up for summer and decided to go next door to have a manicure done. I wouldn’t recommend the nail salon but I do like the way this manicure look came out.
I have to thank Frank Martin for the idea.. He is a really cool guy out in FL that calls me or emails me with all these neat ideas for colors combos.

Colors used are all by BB Couture!
Main color is Dying Time from the Saints of Ruin Collection.
The tip is Horned Devil from the Butterfly Collection.
With silver from the manicurist personal collection.
I was going to go the other way but Horned Devil (from the latest Butterfly Collection) is a red glitter gel and it would of taken 4 coats just to show up correctly I think?
So I went with Dying Time instead. I might do one myself, time to change my nail polish anyway with a different set of colors.I was going to so with Painted Lady on the tips but I didn’t remember to take the bottle with me..
I just wanted to show off this look cause it does look really cool, I was lucky we had sunshine that day.
Its one of those you spend all your time looking at your nails cause it just too darn cool looking not to.. I got lots of great comments about it. Summer is for light colors? Not if you are like me and rather wear dark nail polish colors all year round.
Like you I have all these awesome colors by BB Couture and I just love to change things up.. Having short nails like I do I wear a lot of dark nail polish colors. I am trying to think of a good one to go with Caterpillar (also from the Butterfly Collection) any ideas ladies? Or gents?

Technorati rocks!

Hi!
BB couture has the best color selection around, no doubt about it!
I really like dark colors myself. I think with short nails you can really get away with anything. This was a cool idea. Had I not have short, square nails I would have tried it myself! I can’t wait to get my order from OvB
Wow thanks! I look forward to all my customers/friends getting their nail polish lovelies..
Thanks for stopping by! Any idea what would go good with Caterpillar?
I love dark colors too, bold colors. I love my black and my red but sometimes I mix it up with pastel colors too. Like pinks but I surely love my dark nail polish
