5th Annual “Young Nashville” Party
THE EVENT
On Thursday, October 14, 2010, the Creative Artists Agency (CAA) Task Force will host its 5th Annual Young Nashville Party at the newly renovated Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Nashville. For one evening, more than 500 of Nashville’s most influential young industry professionals and talents will come together with a unified purpose: to raise money for a great cause.
THE CAUSE
The Lollipop Theater Network is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing the magic of entertainment to children confined in hospitals nationwide due to chronic or life-threatening illnesses. The goal of the organization is to create a fun escape from the daily reality of the illnesses that these children face and offer them and their families a moment of “normalcy” in an otherwise stressful environment. Supporters of the organization believe hope and laughter are key ingredients in having the strength to fight and cope with hospitalization.
CAA TASK FORCE
Founded in 2002, the Task Force grew out of the desire of the agency’s staff to make a difference. Each year, the Task Force gives time and money to support multiple causes, and organize benefits in Los Angeles, New York, and Nashville that not only raise tens of thousands of dollars, but also aim to introduce staff across the entertainment industry to the world of philanthropy.
