The Pantone Fashion Color Report for Fall 2010 predicts that purple orchid, chocolate truffle, woodbine, and seven other hues will make up the palette for the season.
What tells you and me is purple is going to be all over the place (and it already it!) with lots of different brands of nail polish companies bringing out their own take on purple, chocolate and other shades this fall.
Can everyone wear purple? Sure! Just got to be careful that it doesn’t wash your out your hands in (too pale colors) or make your hands look old (some dark’s can do that) and work with your skin tone not against it. You can wear just about any color under the sun if you work with your skin tone not against it. With so many shades of any color of nail polish out there, you will find the one that works for you. Isn’t hunting for the best color half the fun anyway?
Women of all ages are embracing our ability to express ourselves in bold colors. So what happens? The fashion world brings out fashion designs more tailored, men-wear style looks in other words totally boring and against our want to wildly express ourselves in color. Nail polish companies don’t care and bringing out their own takes on fashion so metallics and creams are all the rage again, in dark vamp colors all in the many shades of fall.
The new soak off nail polishes are becoming a hit with those that don’t want to bother changing their nail polish or visiting their manicurist every time their polish chips. For those of us who enjoy the change of colors, stay away for gel applied soak off nail polish.

As always don’t go changing your nail shape, keep following the natural shape of your nail. Remember short, well-kept nails are always in fashion.
