The event it was held in the Gift Shoppe part of the Accardis Italian Café and Wine Bar in Dixon, Ca which is about 40 + minutes from where I live. You walk through the gift shop before you go in for dinner. In fact when you walk in you can see the kitchen and see where your dinner is being cooked. The restaurant place itself is small; you probably maybe can seat 40 people max at a time so reservations are recommended. They had a guy come in and play music while you ate. Accardis café offers, beer, wine from their winery but no mixed drinks. Cinzia Accardi (owner) who invited me is also the owner of Green Visions Spa products which I happen to offer on my site. Part of being a vendor was you get to have dinner!
There was ten vendors total. Being the size of the gift shop, it couldn’t of handled more than that. There was two people selling jewelry, one person selling Pampered Chef, one person selling Candles (Mia Bella I think), one selling handbags that you could get monogram (an affiliated program of some type, more about her later), one person selling hand painted items, slippers, belts. She was also offering products from another family member, jewelry made from seeds, and hand painted ornaments and hand knitted items.

What did I learn? Location, location, location!! The person who was closest to the door had come in late and if I had thought about it, her spot was prime! I was in the corner where you could see what I offered but you had to go around the other person to get to what I was showing off. And she talked a lot! About everything but what she was offering. It would have been neat to hear more about what she was offering, I can’t even tell you the brand. Hubby told me it help pass the night while we waited for people to come in, just made it a little hard to get people to come over and see what I had to offer.
The other person who was next the other wall when you walked in turn into the door greeter, which was funny.. She was really neat and her items were wonderfully done. She had got talent for sure! I am thinking about after the holidays having her paint me a belt with the eye from my browser, with my website and bottles of polish and eye shadows. She rode horses, and own 5 Great Danes!! She doesn’t have a website or I would have loved to of shown off her stuff to you. She had hand painted skulks on house slippers!!

After dinner for the vendors about 5:00 pm people started coming in for dinner, I had a few couples come over and look over what I had to offer. The looks on the guy’s faces were priceless when I started talking about BB Couture nail polish for men! Their dates would look over the colors I had on the table, a couple of guys rolled their eyes at the whole idea! One guy who’s date took my business card asked me questions about if BB Couture polish for men if it helped the guys toes and why would they were colors. I talked about Jake the toepaint guy and how we got started with offering nail polish for men.
His date talked to him about wearing sandals, when they walked away he was looking at Bullfighter while his date was looking at the jewelry vendor next to me. I had a feeling that if she wasn’t there he would have bought it.
I was talking with my hubby on the way home about not having a good speech to tell you about all that I offer. He told me something very interesting, he said I was really good at selling about promoting other peoples products that I offer (BB Couture nail polish as an example), but when it came to my own (Overall Beauty Minerals) I was shy. Yet overall all I am not who you would think of as shy. lol
But he also explain I had the same problem as so many other sales people out there have. Its easy to promote what you believe in and total love when its created by someone else, but when you are the creator its can be really tough you got more invested in it. Which makes it tough because you don’t know where to start when you talk about it! He was so right, only I just don’t see myself as shy, I guess because I promote most everything online its easier for me.
I told Cinzia Accardi to invite me again, it was really lots of fun!!
