June is my birthday month and I always like to do something fun, with lots of giveaways all through the month. So watch this blog for giveaways that I will be offering along with lots of really cool reviews I got lined up. And boy do I have a few lined up!! Including one very lonely BB Couture nail polish.. lol If you will you can pick either light or dark nail polish as part of this BUT you don’t get to pick the nail polish color.

Happy Birthday sweetie! Thank you for giving us this chance for a wonderful gift. One of my favorite gifts were these red glass dishes that I was collection. I was obsessed with these dishes and there were many of them. My girlfriend bought me a complete set of 8 of this set. My parents and my brother bought me pieces to go with them. Other friends bought me extra pieces. My Mother made me my favorite cake and I had a wonderful birthday party at home. They all made it so special. My worst gift was sugar free apple cookies my girlfriend made. They were disguisting! The reason being when I opend the cookie tin, the smell that came out was revolting. They were very moist cookies and they went moldy. I almost puked. It was sweet of her to try but I told her for my birthday throw out that receipe! Thank Kim.
Oh my gosh they went moldy?? Yeah that would be a awesome gift to just throw away the recipe!! Something are not meant to be messed with!! Cookies are one of them!! Red glass dishes huh? How long have you been collecting them?

My best birthday present – my husband always goes crazy for my birthday, so it’s hard to choose. But this year he took me shopping for clothes and then out to a fantastic dinner. It was lovely.
WORST present was also this year – on my 30th birthday I ended up driving myself to the ER due to terrible pain. It turned out to be gallstones, and I needed surgery. Not a present from someone, just a BIG bummer.
Oh gall stones are no fun!! They are up there with kidney stones.. ouch!! That would be a big bummer..

Okay, so my favorite birthday gift was something some friends did for me once – they knew I was a Sagittarius, and pretty typical, so they got me a trip to Boston! It was great. We ate at lovely restaurants, we visited Salem, MA. I was there for three days and then flew home! Sags love to travel, explore, and try new things, so they planned those kinds of things for me.
I think the worst birthday gift I ever got was a gigantic doll. As an adult. I’m not into dolls, or collecting them, and I really had no idea what to do with it. I guess it’s not really a bad gift, just – not me! Hahaha.

Ok the worse gift I ever got wasn’t really a gift. My birthday was forgotten because we had to move.
So there I was expecting something, a card or even a Happy Birthday. Nothing.. we had to move 5 small children myself and my Mom and step-Dad..

The best gift I’ve ever gotten were 5 Nfu Oh my BF gave to me this year. Not only because it’s nail polish and my first Nfu Oh, but because of the fact he actually went through all the troubles of picking the polish he thought I’d like best, he picked flakies just so I can combine different colours to my liking and then he found a online store that sells them and everything, all by himself. Lots of work for someone that doesn’t really love nail polish.
My worst present … I hate to think of a present as “bad”, since it’s a gift from someone … it’s what I call a bad choice present, i know the intention was very good and the gift was picked carefully. It was a bag from my friends. I don’t think I had it on me it once, it’s too small for me, has little bows (and I hate bows!) on the handle and it’s a funny shaped kind of thing. They ask me why I don’t wear it and perhaps they’re offended a bit, but I just can’t. :/

My best gift was my coach bag. It was my first nice purse. My worst gift is one of those pet pillow. I felt like a little kid when I got it. Did not like it all.

The best gift I ever got was a few years ago from my best friend. She filled up a basket with all of my favorite things. There were shoes, cds, movies, candy and mini bottles of wine. It was great! It made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside that someone knew me well enough to get me a gift like that!
The worst gift I ever got was something from a long time ago, I was probably 6 or 7. I came out and there were TONS of wrapped presents for me, I was so excited (there is a video somewhere showing my excitement lol) I started opening them and one gift after another was train cars…like the kind that you build a track for and then watch it go around in a circle. I still to this day don’t understand why my parents bought me train stuff, I never was interested in that kind of thing. I was a barbie kinda girl lol. I remember being SO disappointed about my gifts and thinking they were a joke but it turns out they weren’t a joke!

Because my birthday is so close to Christmas, I hate getting “combination gifts”. One year, my aunt gave me a tape player for Christmas and my birthday gift? Batteries. Dead serious.
Oh my gosh!! My step-father’s birthday is the 23rd so we would give him combination gifts, on Christmas. So I totally understand that one.. a tape player.. humm what’s that? LOL

My favorite birthday gift was when I was 13 years old, my parents adopted a horse for me. I had been riding for years and was OBSESSED with horses. I volunteered every weekend at a nearby rescue where formerly abused and neglected horses were cared for and rehomed. My parents adopted a horse for me as a birthday gift and I could not believe it – I had been hoping for one for years. I am 25 now and still have my wonderful horse, Breeze. She was a great birthday gift

Hm…my best birthday present ever was this year, when I passed a kidney stone two days before my birthday!
I hate to think of gifts as “bad,” but if I had to come up with one, it would probably be a ring that I got once from a friend who had their mother pick it out because they didn’t know what to get me…it’s not my style at all, and I know I’ll never wear it.

My favourite birthday gift was this rather simple really wooly sort of jumper with shirt 3/4 length shirt sleeves sticking out. Nothing out of the world really but I just completely fell in love with it. I’m not too difficult to please haha XD
The worst gift was a general voucher which could be used in a selected number of shops. While I don’t dislike vouchers, most of the shops from which I could use it did not interest me at all (childrens’ shops or househould stuff is really not the kind of stuff I’m thinking of at this stage XD) so I was actually quite limited and while of course I appreciate the gift per se, I don’t think something general like that showed whether the person truly knew me and my tastes or not.

Worst? Not the only gift I got but it was a penguin trash can (I didn’t mind the pengion shower curtain, towels, dish soap, soap pump….but trash can?).

Happy Belated Birthday! My favorite birthday gift would have to be when I bought a truck that I really wanted….the worst would be one year a few days before my dad passed away, no one remembered it, no cards, gifts or any acknowledgement. We were all sad because my dad was really sick and some kind of birthday wish would have lifted my spirits, if only for that day.

Amazingly, the gift that stands out to me the most, because it was so off the wall, was an Elvis Impersonator sang Happy Birthday to me at my work place, LOL!

My favorite birthday gift was actually last year when my husband bought me all the Harry Potter movies on bluray! I had always just waited until they were on TV to watch them.
The worst gift I ever got was from my mom when I was a teenager. It was this leopard print jacket with fur that stuck out. I put it on and laughed (my dad laughed too). I thought it was so horrible I couldn’t play nice, I just laughed at how ridiculous it was, even though my mom thought it was cute.

Best birthday gift: My fiancé surprised me with a week’s getaway to Miami – followed by 2 nights in Vegas. I swear I slept a total of 48 hours over the entire trip; I just didn’t want the fun to end!
Worst birthday gift: An ex-boyfriend gave me a watch he had previously given to his ex-girlfriend. Needless to say, he asked for it back after we broke up :/

The best birthday gift ever was a Michael Jackson purse. I was in love with him in the 80’s. Somehow my mom found a tiny purple vinyl purse with his picture on it. So perfect for 11 year old me!
The worst gift was also from my mother. Last year she sent me a big priority mail box. I was really excited to open it. Inside was a bag of chips and some Prid salve. LOL

I actually remember 2 gifts that fall into the best category…one being an amazing red svarowski crystal heart that I’ve been wanting for a while or second a trip to Orlando to go to the Themeparks!
My worst gift was ( I feel bad for even writing this! ) a jewelry set that was not my style at all…actually it felt like it was a regift since it came from someone who knows what I’d wear!
It could be much worse and I feel very lucky and blessed with each and every gift I get
