I have been testing a brand new serum by Reviva Labs called Stem Cell Booster Serum with either InterCell Hyaluronic Acid day cream and with InterCell night gel with Hyaluronic Acid.
As a huge believer in “layering” my skincare products as well as changing my skincare products I never run out of combinations of Reviva labs products to try.
Yes I also think that your skin can get used to a set of products so adding to or changing up a product is a great idea about every couple of months.
Now I don’t mean if keep using a product if you are reacting badly to it.
So as I get new products to try (unless it’s a full skincare routine) I work them in and remove something else.
I have been testing out the Stem Cell Booster serum with other skincare products by Reviva labs.
I found a few things interesting as I have been trying it.

My thoughts about it:
One even thou it says to apply first then apply your serum or skincare cream over it I found it works better if you apply another serum first then it. The Stem Cell Booster serum isn’t like other serums I have tried by Reviva labs the feel is different. Like it leaves your skin feeling a little bit tight. If takes only a small amount and I felt it go to work in tighten my cheeks under my eyes being that is the one spot I feel needs the most work.
it in fact didn’t leave my skin feeling so tight. I have been trying it with other Reviva labs products their InterCell night cream (gel based) and their InterCell day cream. Both day and night creams have a very interesting fact Reviva labs recommends you drink at least your 8 glasses of water when using these products.Wow I have never had a skincare cream recommend drinking your 8 glasses a day before. What I found was, if I didn’t drink enough water it’s like a gentle reminder to do so because my skin will feel tighter than usual. Especially if I use the InterCell gel at night. If you do I recommend to use their Hyaluronic Acid serum with the Stem Cell Booster Serum because each boost the other products helping them to improve your skin overall. I totally believe in layering my skincare so using more than one serum is like the norm for me.

I tried a stem cell product by Dr. Pericone for a good year and saw a little difference in the deep layers of my skin in that I had more firmness. But It did not sell and his product line was re-vamped big time so that one was discontinued. Being a clinical laboratory scientist, It’s pretty hard to deal with stem cells and the thought of putting botanical stem cells on the skin topically is a pretty hard stretch of science. It’s more a buzz thing for stem cells therapy that is in the news all the time – but not this kind of stem cell therapy. What is working sometimes is use of one’s own stem cells harvested and then concentrated (outside of the US they can be grow up – inside the US they are just concentrated and injected into an injured site like with orthopedic conditions. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not help and there is not enough research yet to know why. In maybe 20 years we will not need knee or hip replacements – we can heal and growth in new parts of ours that have gone on us. But that’s a long way off scientifically.
First off thanks for stopping by! Being someone with a totally replaced knee and looking at possible hip surgery the idea of growing my other part would be so much better than having to put metal inside of me. I never tried any of Dr. Pericone products so I don’t know anything about his products to say if they work or not. I think with all skincare its the what the main ingredient is in with that can make a difference in how it works. The problem with stem cell research is the scare of where those cells are coming from. It doesn’t matter its ‘not that kind of stem cell therapy’ the media has scared the public so they know of no other type.
