Here is a quote from one of many emails that I receive almost daily on the subject of men wearing nail polish. I thought I would share with you the messages we been doing back and forth because I think its an important enough subject to do so.
I do hope you will leave your comments, I would love to hear what you think as well!
To answer your question I’m a straight 30 year old man with a girlfriend.
I’ve been wearing nail polish for about 2 & half years now.
I pretty much wear nail polish on my toes all the time, but I’m not confident enough to show my toes in public
I wear nail polish on my fingers on & off mainly at weekends due to work:-(
I’m not 100% confident wearing polish on my fingers I do try & hide it unless I feel confident in the situation
My girlfriend is supportive but I just feel to nervous. Any advice???? ~ M
Now I had to really think about this question, some guys have no problem what so ever going out in public wearing nail polish in all kinds of crazy colors. With so many colors to pick from I’m not surprised at all. BUT most of these guys are wearing nail polish on their toes, not their fingernails and that is where the problem lies. You can hide your toes in a pair of shoes, you can’t hide your fingernails.
So what if you really really want to wear nail polish in public on your fingernails, where do you start? Well it always helps to have a partner who is supportive of the idea.
If she is open to the idea of you wearing nail polish in colors on your nails, then here is what I would do..
I would get a manicure done, a really nice one, with wax, massage the works! Then I would start with a basic nude color.. something that is barely there. No glitter (glitter on a guy just don’t seem to work for me) Once you become used to a nude color, I would start with something maybe sheer with color.. something that is a guys color.. like Widow Maker or John Smith with the idea of wearing a color that doesn’t jump out at you. Then work your nerve up to Coal Miner and really rock out your nails with Adam
(
***Now in M’s case I think he needs to get used to the idea of wearing nail polish on his toes before he starts with his fingernails.
Sometimes we feel like everyone is looking at us, when really they are not.
***
In today’s world men wearing nail polish is a lot easier to get away with, than guys wearing makeup. Nail polish for men is hitting main stream and its about time!
Now below this is my answer to a question that I get asked so very often, what do I think about men wearing nail polish?
Most guys who I sell polish too, tell me about how its like for them. The good and the bad, their pain of loving something so much but having a partner that thinks if they wear it they are turning into a girl. No that is so narrow-minded!!
I got one guy who would love to wear nail polish to work for fun just once..
My thoughts about it is this, I see nothing wrong with men wearing polish either on their fingernails or toenails. I got to the shopping malls and watch guys and I am starting to notice more and more are wearing polish on their toes.
If you are going to wear nail polish guys, here are a few points for you:
But if you are going to wear polish on your fingernails or toenails there are a few things I say you got to do. If you got hairy toes, then shave them. Keep your toes clean, and get pedicures done.Your fingernails? Keep your nails looking nice, the worse thing to see if a guy with bitten off nails, hard cuticles, dry hands. Like ladies your hands are just as noticed. CEO’s of companies get manicures done because it adds to their professional look overall. They wear clear or just get their nails buffed to a nice shine.
Wearing nail polish is just another way to show off your sense of style. The fact I sell nail polish has nothing to do with how I think or feel about the idea. I see nothing wrong with it.
I would rather see a nice looking pair of fingernails with a color on them over all that markings you can put into your skin. You can change your polish, removing a tat? Well good luck..
Whenever you want to talk about wearing polish, as you see I am here for you.
Think of me as your friend who just happens to sell nail polish.
Thanks for your question M, you made my day!
Kim Snyder
PS: I thought this way about nail polish even before I started selling nail polish for men.

There is one suggestion I would like to add, When you wear polish act the same as you do when you aren’t wearing polish. You have to wear it with confidence. If it is no big deal to you, it won’t be to most others.

Thanks for stopping by! I was hoping that I would get a comment from one of the guys I know who does wear nail polish. I think your comment is very helpful indeed.
Oh, this one is easy. I’m totally, without a doubt for man wearing nail polish.
Whenever I get asked such question I always reply with: ‘Well, why not?’ If I get the ‘it’s for women’ argument I always point out that ‘trousers were originally for men only, but you wear them now, no?’. And rest my case.
I think it’s about time society finally gets it that we are an unisex society. Almost everything goes both ways. Including nail polish. Personally I think it’s hot when a guy takes care of his nails and some extra colour is only a big bonus! If you feel like wearing it, wear it, and with confidence.
I think Jim’s suggestion is spot on. When you don’t look shy about wearing something, noone will ask you about it (and if they do, they’d also find any other thing to complain about, even if you wouldn’t wear polish).
The other thing I really agree with is also the acceptance of your partner. Simply because the support is really important in the beginning, and the feeling of having ‘backup’ too, if someone is mean.
Rock the nail polish, guys!

Wow thanks! I got one guy who is watching this post to see if men wearing nail polish is a problem.
As you can see its from the UK..
Nothing wrong with guys using nail polish!
I’ve worn both BB Couture’s Vise and Blue Collar on my hands in public. You can see the photos of my hands modelling both colors on this site’s Facebook page. I only wore Vise for a few hours after the photo session, but got great comments from women during that time. This past summer I wore Blue Collar to an out-of-state amusement park I visited alone. It matched the shirt I was wearing. I got stopped by women of all ages who said I looked “so cute” wearing the combo. My wife, and the area I reside in, may not be ready for men in polish yet but those positive remarks I received tell me it won’t be long before it becomes mainstream.
Thanks CJ for stopping by and saying something.. I was so hoping you would!!
Wonderful post, Kim! You covered a lot of what the hot topics are in male nail polish.
Guys, Kim is definitely our “friend who just happens to sell nail polish”! Any of us who’ve ordered from Kim know that she goes out of her way to talk via email about any questions or concerns we have.
Kim has invited me to write a blog entry about my experiences, and I will do that soon. I am a 50-something married man with a conservative family and wife, and also live in a pretty conservative town. I wear BBC toe color pretty much all the time, but have to keep it covered at home. I occasionally wear sandals in warm weather out in public, which has been a thrill. No one has really stared or said anything, so by the end of sandal weather last year, I had gotten used to color in the open in public.
Still only wearing Orly Nails for Males matte clear on the fingers, though. I can get away with that all the time, and I like the way it looks.
Those BBC colors for men are fabulous! I have about 20 different bottles now, and may have to try some of these newest mattes Kim is carrying.
I’m so glad that male nail color is starting to take off!
Oh wow thanks so very much for stopping by and leaving your thoughts! I try my best

Thanks so very much for stopping by! Yes there are a few brands for men now, BB Couture has lots of really awesome colors.. Visit http://www.overallbeauty.com/catalog/couture-colors-nail-polish-c-193_207_208.html and check all the colors we offer just for men!
I wear nail polish usually just on my left hand. After I put it in on I don’t pay much attention to it unless it chips. Since I pay it no mind I find that most others don’t either. I’ve had no problems & my work takes my into many different situations. Most quite conservative. It all in how you yourself view it.
I like my toes polished too. Old enough now to not be concerned with what others, that is society rather than friends, think. Yes it’s different and it still bothers me a bit that for whatever reason I like this while all my guy friends don’t color theirs. Just being honest about it.
I think everybody should protect their nails with a topcoat of something. clear or color is immaterial. I have found though that my nails are much more healthy since I starred coating them as I’m taking much better care of them. Use only clear matte by Orly on my fingers. I’m way too hard on my hands to ever get away from the color being trashed daily, even if I was so inclined to do so.
I am a 43 y/o male, maried twice w/3 children. I wear nail polish on both my hands and toes. I prefer dark colors, blue, black, dark greys or that Adam color. I also like french without the white tips. Right now, i am wearing black diamond from china glaze on both my toes and fingers. I wear it in public and I have been complimented on my appearence. Some men dont like it, my wife and my mom, as well as my oldest doughter dont like it or support it, but I dont care, I like it, I like how it looks on me, how I feel, and how it sets me apart from all other men. For me it feels like I have this power over traditionalists. I dont like much the fact that some companies are advertising “male polish”, to me, polish is polish, and there is more variety in polish marketed for women (revlon has some great colors), you just have to learn to wear it with style. Some men are more flamboyant and prefer bright colors, some like metalics (like me)
, but I guess that is why women have liket it so much over the years.
Wearing nail polish does not make a man gay (i know gay men that dont like to wear it) or fem, or transexual or even a cross dresser. Not that any of those thinngs bother me, I just put it out there because many people will argue that. I think that only real men, who are man enogh to do what they want and have a sense of style can wear nail polish. I like to get pedicures and manicures every other month and I give myself the treatments in between and I find it relaxing and fun, sometimes challenging to stay on the lines
Thanks so very much for stopping by! I love hearing what the guys think about wearing nail polish. I don’t think its just a girl thing, or its just a gay thing, its polish. Its doesn’t change you and it doesn’t turn you into anything. I love your comments! Thanks so very much for leaving your thoughts on this very interesting tending topic..
Kim, I think wearing nail polish is a style that has finally evolved for men as it has been for women as a way to add interest and fun to a person’s overall look. I really enjoy the availability of colors that are more compatible with the type of styles men wear because even just a few years ago it was difficult to find anything that looked good on guys. BB Couture has done an incredible job of creating colors that guys can comfortably wear, and as it turns out, gals are warming up to too!
The fact that more companies are now offering nail polish branded for men pretty much says that it’s a recognized market and accepted style for men now.
I have enjoyed wearing polish on my toes for years now and feel great about it
I do agree that anyone wearing their nails polished should also take good care of them because the polish won’t make bad nails look good.
Hi
I love wearing light pink polish on my finer nails and every Friday I wear colored polish on my toes to work.
I work in a small office, with one guy (who turns a bling eye) and another lady. She loves to see me wearing nail polish, we even talk about it.
Even if i go out to buy lunch, I have had no bad comments, women love it! They say that more men should display more color and fashion.
I’m a 30 yr old male, I’ve been wearing polish on and off since I was 16. Back then, I was more of a stupid rebellious youth so it was black all the way just to stick it to the man.
These days, I’ve branched out to colors that I like and that seem to fit (a lot of metallic purples and blues with an occasional red). I even go through the trouble of painting certain colors for holidays (orange and brown for Thanksgiving, red and green for Christmas, etc). I’ve been doing it for so long I just don’t think about it in public places anymore, nor do I feel awkward.
I mostly just paint my left hand. I used to do both, and I’m fine enough at the task, but I play lead guitar for a metal band as well as dabble in finger style on acoustic. My right hand gets beat up in a matter of hours, so I mostly just do a base and top coat on that hand.
It also helps as a conversation starter for women, especially since many have been curious as to why I only do one hand. I haven’t really run into much negative response to it in general, but that might also be due to me being a big guy that people find intimidating regardless of my personality.
Overall though, I’d say if you like it, then own it. With enough confidence, you can sell just about anything and it’s not like you’ll be humiliated or threatened.
Thanks for sharing your story! You may not realize it but your story of how you deal with wearing nail polish may help another guy decide to go ahead and wear it! Band player huh? Awesome!!
The other day I saw a guy in his twenties wearing casual clothes, hat, tee shirt, shorts a black pair of flip flops and he had black toe nail polish. It looked great. It looked like he shaved the hair off his feet and legs and took really good care of his feet. They were probably better than some of my female friends feet. So I say if you can make the effort to take care of your feet.. go for it. Anyone can get away with finger nail polish. That is easy.
I’m a 42 year old married straight male who’s been wearing nail polish on my toes for many years. I also wear a simple silver toe ring and a baltic amber beaded anklet that my wife made for me on my left foot. I wear only clear or a light pink color polish that nearly looks natural, although I’ve tried silver once. It’s really strange but my wife is completely against me using any color polish so I had to reluctantly remove it. I never try to hide my painted nails, although I sometimes do remove the toe ring and anklet depending on where I’m going though.
I’m 46 and have been using nail polish for about a decade as well. I was interested when I noticed my CEO buddies had nice manicure’s. I found Orly makes a great product called “Nails for Males” which is a clear matte finish polish and well priced around $6. With a little care they look and feel great. The only downside is that the bottle is lavander which reinforces a stereotype. I always thought if they made it in a cool black trimmed bottle they would make a killing. Recently, it has been hard to find but the local GBS beauty has it, Sally used to stock it. I asked and the clerk said there was a similar Essie but if I could get over the lavander I was better off with the Orly.
Recently, I tried a color and I like the way it looks and understand why the ladies like it. Although I wouldn’t care if someone else had a problem with my nails (after all it’s their problem), I have young kids and doubt the “norms” have changed enough to allow them to escape criticism of their old man….Times they are a changin’, though.
And let me just add to the site moderator….a Lavander website with Butterflies and Swirls about male nail care is a little stereotypical.
How about making it “cool” and androgenous rather than sexist either way.
Thanks
Hi Steve,
I totally agree with you. I think that if you are offering a product for men and woman maybe the colors should reflect that fact.
I wear coloured polish on my toes all the time my tips to men trying to build up the courage to go with colour are
Make sure your feet look good, well pedicured.
I prefer to have no hair on the feet or toes as I personaly feel this looks better.
Colour choice can make all the difference especially when starting out, lighter paler colours are not as noticable. I personaly found using lighter colours helped me build my confidence. I prefer darker colours but people will notice these more.
Most people don’t bother or give a second glance only, I haven’t had any negative comments and in fact youd be suprised how few people actually seem to notice.
If you are going to do it then do it confidently, enjoy your love of polish.
Thanks Steve for stopping by and leaving your thoughts of this. I have noticed that most men who leave comments are trying polish for the first time, or been wearing it for a while all say pretty much the same thing. Just freaking go for it! Don’t care what others think..
Thanks Steve.. Enjoy your polish!!
I’m a 52 yo straight, married guy. I always keep my nails ‘cured and polished – in fact I have gel over acrylic on my fingernails so they’ll stand up to everyday use.
My wife and often go to the nail salon together.
I wear makeup too – but not every day. I’ll put some on if I’m going “out” for dinner at a nice place, or whatever. Eye shadow is da bomb!
Just to add, I like bright, sparkly colors! I’m wearing traditional red sparkly as I write this…
I have just found this place by accident and thought i ought o say a few words. I have been wearing on my toes for as many years as i remember, So many in fact that i cannot remember when or why i started. Curiosity i suppose? I dont feel the need to cover up, i get all sorts of comments from both males and females, but never have i had a bad comment! I have been wearing on my fingers now for a few years and get a few odd looks, but nobody seems to have the guts to question me. Are they afraid i may be Alien or something? I am just an ordinary fella who likes to look clean and tidy. I am an engineer, so my unpainted nails always look a mess. I mainly use dark colours, but have been known to wear light, bright and sometimes sparkly colours too.
I think that life is too short to worry about what people think, just be yourself and if someone does not like it, they dont have to look do they? I see all sorts of comments on blogs like “weird” “gay” ” its not normal” etc. But i always wonder why these people are reading these blogs in the first place LOL.
By the way, My wife approves, My son simply does not care, and i know his girlfriends love it cos they buy me polish for xmas and birthdays.
and like to browse through my collection.
Also, you may be interested to know that i am not a youngster, I am in my 50’s and loving life.
And for those Guy’s still thinking about it, Shave your feet/hands and tidy up those nails first, it make a huge difference to the way people see you.
My toes are only unpainted when i am changing colours, or repainting, My fingers atr usually at a whim or when i am bored, but i just go ahead and do it without thinking, its an everyday normal thing once you start, a bit like brushing your teeth but more fun.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving your comments on this subject. These days its getting to the point that it shouldn’t matter if you are a guy or a girl wearing nail polish. But it does.
I totally agree take the time to groom your toes and nails. Taking the time shows you care enough to show off the polish at its best.
I always find it interesting that so many people have different views of men wearing nail polish on their toes. I just returned from a Florida vacation and walked on the beach with red toes. Got some strange looks from only a few but nobody was really rude. Did have many (mostly women) just had to ask what made me want to wear nail polish on my toes. I have no problem with it and neither does my wife. I am a straight guy with a like for wearing red, pink and berry colors. Sometimes the pink with a white tip. I really don’t mind and most people don’t either but are just curious. I have painted mine even before it was even remotely OK. In public is no big deal unless you make it that way. People will be curious but until others are like me and just do it in public, there will always be questions. If every guy that paints his toes would just go to the grocery or mall or even just out for a stroll with the toes showing, soon no one would even notice. By the way. Even with ladies curious why and asking about it, they were actually fine with it and thought it was great. So don’t be scared, just do it and release that stress from you life.
I love it when I guy stops by and leaves comments like this, I really do!! Not only are you sharing your honest thoughts about why a guy might wear nail polish, you are saying hey if enough guys did it, there wouldn’t any of this worry about it making you different. Or make you stand out. I love the fact your wife is cool with it. To be honest I am married and I can’t get my husband to even think about the idea!!
He knows I sell nail polish for men but won’t let me paint his toes. But I got him into going to pedicures so that is a good start.
I really think that what you are saying is the truth, women are curious about why you might wear it, but I would be more interested in where did you get that color?? Like we do about shoes.. lol
And it can be stressful to want to do something and not be able to do in public without fear that someone is going to take it all wrong. Wear your nail polish in public in tiny steps.. start out with a simple soft pink, or a nude color.. just to get yourself ready for the idea.. once you are sure you can handle a nude or sheer color, work on your way into darker colors. Do like Donnie did and while on vacation, wear your red to the beach..
Thanks again for stopping by, I love hearing for the guys..
For a while now I have been wearing OPI Passion on my hands with an OPI naturally-tinted top coat over it. I wear this combination on my toes too and have never received any negative comments or funny looks. On rare occasions, I wear either BB Couture Vise or Blue Collar on my toes and I get nothing but great comments from women. What’s amusing is that Vise seems to be similar to some popular colors among young women, so women young enough to be my daughters often ask me if it’s such or such a color that I’ve never heard of. So it gets a little weird when that happens, but I give them a quick plug for Vise with Kim’s website URL.
Hi CJ!
And yeah Vise is a good popular color for everyone, not just guys!! Thanks for letting everyone know that we offer at Overallbeauty.com a range of colors for men.
Thanks again for stopping back by. Nice to hear that you are wearing more color now.
My pleasure Kim. Some of the younger women who commented on my toes with Vise did remark that they’d like their boyfriends to wear it too so they could match. So maybe trends are changing in my part of the country. My wife is now cool with everything too. She just doesn’t like it when women working store counters grab my hand and compliment me on my nails. It’s not the compliments, it’s the grabbing my wife dosen’t like. Hey, it’s not easy being a freelance hand model on the side(lol)!
At least they aren’t grabbing other parts of your body right? I am glad to hear that tends are changing in your area. I remember a few years ago how uptight everyone was.
I am a straight married guy that loves getting pedicures and wearing polish on my toes. I am like the opposite of a Tomboy. I have a very strong feminine side and whenever I’m not at work my toes are on display in women’s sandals with bright red or hot pink polish. I get a lot of complements especially from women on my pedicures and choice of nail colors. Women constantly tell me that I have toes like a girl which I consider to be a wonderful compliment. Just like some people express themselves with tattoos, I express my strong feminine side with perfectly pedicured bright red or hot pink toenails. I am very much at ease showing my toes in public and I don’t even think about it anymore. In fact, bright red is like a natural color for my toenails. Like Donnie said, “it is not a big deal, just do it and release that stress from your life”. It is so relaxing and pampering to get a professional pedicure. The foot massage is wonderful, and your nail polish will be perfect. Don’t be afraid to get red or pink polish. Also don’t be afraid to show-off your pretty toes in sandals. It is a very liberating experience. Whenever I’m having a bad day it really cheers me up to look down and see bright red toenails peeking out of my sandals. After wearing polish on my toes for many years, I would never wear open toe sandals without a good pedicure and bright red polish on my toes. Many thanks for beautyqueen for supporting guys wearing polish.
Thank you so very much for stopping by and leaving your thoughts! I love hearing from all kinds of guys! WE have our gentle, or rough and tough guys who still no matter what love their polish! I see nothing wrong with it! I am so glad to hear from all kinds of guys.

beautyqueen recently posted..La Bella Donna Duo-Lip Crayon Review With Giveaway!!
Hi Kim, we are friends on FB and I was just out looking for articles to share on my blog about men painting their nails and came across this one. Good story, and I’m glad to see so many guys, and women supporting the idea that “It’s Ok for Men to Have Painted Nails”, which is why I titled my blog as such.
I for one have been painting my toes for around 20 years I suppose, but for the longest time I too kept it a secret. I think the biggest reason was my father who was a very masculine cowboy type and fairly narrow minded. Then we he passed in 2007 it hit me that life was too short to go around worrying about what the world thought about something like my painted toes. So I began venturing out in public and ‘testing the waters’.
I found out 2 things doing this. One, if you go out all nervous and try to hide your toes from everyone, constantly looking around to see who was staring or snickering, you draw attention to yourself, and look guilty. Then they do stare and giggle, and wonder what you’re up too. But as soon as I realized this and quit acting like I was doing something wrong, I pretty much never noticed these reactions again. So guys, it’s just nail polish, and it’s fun, plus it looks GREAT, if you do it well. I suggest you just go out in public with a fairly neutral color, act confident and normal, and very few people will notice your painted nails, and those that do probably won’t say anything negative. I’ve gotten far more positive comments than negative ones, and the negative ones were barely negative like “I don’t get why men want to do this, but it’s your body” or something along those lines.
And now I’m married to a wonderful woman who completely supports my nail painting, and my sense of fashion freedom, so I’m very lucky. By fashion freedom I mean I am wanting to start wearing a kilt at times, and in the winter I wear pantyhose for comfort and warmth (I do construction for a living) and I sometimes wear shoes that were only sold in the womens section. They aren’t overly feminine and I just like the style. I’m not out to look feminine, but yes, I do acknowledge that I have more of a feminine side than some, (or at least more than some will admit).
Anyway, I do see a change happening and believe we are in the midst of a mindset change that is becoming more accepting of guys wearing nail polish in public. And I hear from guys all the time on my blog about how they’ve recently been going out in public with polish on their nails and they thank people like us who are helping to pave they way. My blog gets around 3-400 hits a day, so there is a LOT of interest in this subject. Anyway, thanks for all your support Kim!
OH wow thank you so very much for stopping by and saying something Guy. You are so correct life is way too short to stress over someone else’s idea what is right or wrong. I look forward to your blog posts.

beautyqueen recently posted..Old Makeup Makes You Look Old? And other Sunday thoughts
Fantastic post and best blog! I happen to be a daily visitor to your blog (somewhat more like addict
) of this blog. Just wanted to say I appreciate your blogs and am looking forward for more to come!
I am 32 years old and have painted my toenails off and on for years. infact i have actually gotten my wife into painting hers and on a random occasion we go get our nails done together at the salon. I don’t particularly care for just polish on my fingers so we both do the acrylic nails as i have mans sized hands and for some reason color on shorter nails doesn’t look right on me but my wife and daughters love the fact that i am not afraid to get purple tips with longer nails (little longer than active length but not omg scratch your eyes out obnoxious long)and a little nail art on them. I love having my nails done but unfourtanetly still reserved about showing them off much in public as 1. i live in a redneck logging town 2. well known around town by EVERYONE. and 3. just not sure how well the world and people will take it but i get my moods of screw it who cares what anyone else thinks. it’s a working progress but the sad part is i have had so much crap in this town by strangers seeing mypainted toes that it makes it a little tougher to rock the acrylic nails. most commonly i get the did you loose a bet and my response is no which usually ends up in why the hell would any self respecting man wear polish are you a fag? so as you can see with constant responses like that over just simple toe nails painted why it makes it a little un-nerving to rock anything else…... whats your guys views on men with acrylic nails and color?
For me I think about acrylics are, it doesn’t matter if you are a guy or girl..acrylics are really hard on your natural nails. Now if you do a job like play music for a living and you need nails?? Then acrylics are the way to go. I know a guy who when he goes out on tour has acrylics done because the damage he does to his nails. He wears black nail polish too.
Are you asking about wearing acrylics on your nails or on your toes? I know you can wear it on both. I know someone who wears acrylics on his toes because they are so weak. And he loves to paint them all the time. And does give a rats who sees it.
Part of the problem with having short nails (I have short nails) is the color you wearing. Some colors just don’t look right on short nails. For short nails? Go darker polish, not light polishes. Dark polish makes your nails look longer. And if you got big hands, then wearing a darker color would work better for you. Acrylics are good if you want your nails to be all the same length.
But I also totally get were you are coming from as well. Its tough for a guy to wear nail polish. And you are so right, the first thoughts many hear are “what are you gay” Or when did you become gay?” Like wearing nail polish turns you gay.. That is so WRONG on so many levels.. What you do in the private of your home has nothing to do to wearing nail polish. I know a Security Guard for a high level area that if who he was guarding knew he wore nail polish on his toes? He would lose total respect from them. He is one big guy too!!
I guess the tough part is getting past the caring ..

I have always liked the look of french tips for women on both fingers and toes. About a year ago I had my nail tech (yes, I am a regular with her) polish my toes with black tips. Really liked the look! Since then, I have tried a few different colors as well as white french tips.
I am a straight male and do all kinds of “manly” things
. Just happen to like the look. Pretty sure I am not turning gay! I don’t try to hide my toes nor show them off. If I have flip-flops or sandals on, so be it.
I also have several pairs of heels and wear them with traditional male business attire or with a casual wardrobe. The point so many others have made is that polish is easily removed and I’d add that shoes are easy to change. Life is short – do what makes you happy!
Thanks Blake for stopping by! I love hearing from both sides of the story.. Its awesome that you can just wear polish without fear.. not all guys are that lucky yet.. may someday everyone be as lucky as you are! Have a wonderful polish filled day!
