I am always looking for a good hand cream! That I can apply without getting my mouse greasy or it doesn’t leave me my hands sticky. I am always working with paper which just steals the moisture from my hands. And we won’t even talk about how bad my cuticles look.. ![]()
So when Cleopatra’s Choice contacted me about testing out and doing a review for their Adovia Mineral hand cream with dead sea minerals, Shea butter and aloe vera I was all for it! I have heard of Cleopatra’s Choice brand but never tried any of their products.
What does Cleopatra’s Choice say about their hand cream?
Cleopatra’s Choice states that the Adovia Mineral Hand Cream with Dead Sea Minerals is… “Formulated with Dead Sea Minerals and Shea Butter, Adovia Dead Sea mineral hand cream is non-oily and absorbs quickly to provide instant, long-lasting moisturizing relief and protects your hands throughout the day. A powerful combination of natural oils, vitamins and essential minerals works to restore the inner balance of your skin. Chamomile and Aloe Vera calm and soothe your skin leaving your hands looking radiant and youthful.”

Now I think a good hand cream should absorb quickly, offer long-lasting moisturizing care and smell good. Price isn’t never a problem with me, I have hand creams that cost me less than $5.00 and others that cost me over $30.00. I just don’t care when it comes to price.

It’s a bit runny so you got to be careful with you go to apply it. I know I tried to put a little bit on my hand and it didn’t happen as you can see from the photo above. It would be better I think in a pump not a tube like I got it. I know that you can get in a professional size that does come with a pump top.
Now the only problem I have with this hand cream is the scent. I just can’t handle it! I have read a few reviews for it, and everyone enjoys the scent but not their price tag for it. I on the other hand is the other way around. Its so sad for me because it works!
It does everything the company say it does and more. I applied to see if the scent would go away after a while, and it doesn’t. If this was unscented I would buy it regularly. But I just can’t handle the scent.. I wish I could. ![]()
Usually it runs about $18.00 and I think the benefits its offers makes it worth money. If scent isn’t a issue for you, then this might be the hand cream for you!
(I have to say in all honestly I have asthma, so what scent might drive me nuts might be just fine for you. So don’t let what I say about the scent be the reason why you do not give this brand a try.)

What is the biggest selling point for you when it comes to hand cream? Does price of a hand cream stop you from buying it? What is the best brand you have ever tried? Come on share!

What did it smell of? I used some ADI Beauty shea butter for hands (it also has dead sea minerals) it was quite nice, probably something similar to this product. But then I switched to using pure oils and butters for my skin. If you have issues with smells, you should try making your own mixture. Cocoa or shea butter work great as a base and on their own.
I am not really sure how to explain the scent. It was just something that hung in the air, it stayed on my hands after washing them, its just yuck!
but how to really explain I can’t.. sorry some say its light and airy??
