Ok for starters I am 50 years old. Great way to start a post right?
What I am willing to spend on beauty products now is more than it was when I was in my late 30’s. As you already know as we age our faces start showing it. But if you use the right skincare, SPF25 or higher sunscreen and stay out of tanning booths when you are young, there is a good chance you are not going to look your age number. And who wants to look their age right?
Yes me, taken in 2009 > yes there is a reason for this photo
Someone asked me my thoughts about beauty, beauty products as we age and what was I willing to try to change how I look? Wow great question huh? What is my personal price tag I would spend on beauty. I am finding that my cost for skincare is going up, I am using more products on my face now more than ever. Now one thing I do believe that how we feel about ourselves overall, will also help us on how we look. A lot of your natural beauty still comes from within. And with a little help of makeup, there you go!
Beauty at my age is all about maintaining my skin.
A few years ago I got to test a product that you can’t find any more:
I did this post in 2007 http://overallbeauty.com/beauty-blog/2007/10/21/after-the-first-5-days-of-testing-rejuvawand/
From looking around on the web, I found you can not buy it any longer. It was pretty easy to use, took forever, and when I ran out of the gel you use the product was no longer available. Wow bummer.. The cost of the product around $200.00
Well I am getting a chance to try something new for helping with those fine lines under my eyes.. I was contacted by PR not too long ago for a product you use in your own home called PaloVia Skin Renewing Laser. Its a FDA cleared at home laser (first one too) clinically proven to reduce fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes. I was like wow… What a interesting idea, I do have fine lines that my eye cream can’t take care of, to not have them at all??

I am almost afraid to show this this photo.. its my left eye showing my fine lines, and yes with very little makeup! I think its tougher showing a image without any touching up what so ever, meaning in my case little makeup.. why my left eye fine lines? Because they are the worse.. and when I am really tired they show..
I am wondering what would it be like to not have any fine lines? After looking at that photo, or yeah they got to go!
The reason why I show the first professionally photo I had done back in 2009 is, as part of getting to test the PaloVia Skin Renewing Laser sometime in November I will get to go to New York and get a better updated head shot done! I have never been to New Your City so I know its going to be a blast! They are going to be kind enough to give me the best after testing photo I could ever asked for! I have never been to New York so you know I will be tweeting and Facebooking about it later
Now this laser is difference from anything I have ever tried before, so I know that working with it, I will be able to see how works, what it does first hand. So yes there will be more posts about it. In fact its highly possible I might be able to give one away!!
More about that later..
Over the next 30 days, I will be doing one post per week about testing out the PaloVia Skin Renewing Laser System. I was asked to test the device and to share my honest opinion about the process and the results. And so yeah more photos..
This is the first of four posts of working with PaloVia Skin Renewing Laser. For more information, visit their website at : PaloVia Skin Renewing Laser
