I have no problem with most makeup removers on my face. I don’t tend to wear a lot of face makeup such liquid foundation etc. So for me what I do wear is easy to remove when I cleanse my face. I wear mineral foundation and it’s easy to remove.
Eye makeup that is a whole different story. I have tried natural, oil free drugstore brands, high price to Mary Kay. Personal favorites are Lancôme over-priced for the amount you get.
So I have pretty much settled with Mary Kay, yeah I know not the best out there but have less affect on my eyes. I use Ella Blue brand as well which is really good but never fails I get it my eyes. It hurts, any brand hurts, burns etc. not ever pretty which you look like you had been crying cause you got eye makeup remover in your eyes again. I’m sure ladies you can relate to the issue.
I don’t think it’s so much the product I’m using but the amount. It’s the control factor. I have bad hands, can’t hold things at times and drop things a lot. When I squeeze a bottle like a makeup remover, the more liquid it maybe the more I get on the cotton ball, which in turns is usually too much.
I was at my favorite store looking at their sales (love 25% off skincare sales!) when I say that Gabriel Organics has a makeup remover only $12.99. Not wanting to waste money yet again I got a tissue and used their tester. Oh my gosh! Control!!
Gabriel Organics Sea Fennel Gentle Eye Makeup Remover made with Sea Fennel, Blue Green Algae, Eyebright Extract.
“An extremely mild liquid of sea fennel and chamomile, which gently and effectively removes all traces of eye makeup without irritating the delicate eye area. Eyebright extract soothes tired, sore eyes and diffuses redness and puffiness.“
Price on website $15.50 I didn’t pay that much But I will be more than willing to do it!
I never used a remover for eye makeup that has a spray pump. You see it too because it sprays blue onto your cotton ball. Ok now I got to try this!! So I bought is used it that night. Ok anyone ever used a natural makeup remover? Usually you have to hold it on your eyes for up to a minute or longer in hopes of getting your mascara off. Never comes off first time around huh? Or it is really oily and still doesn’t remove your eye makeup.
I only had mascara on so I sprayed a couple of pumps onto my cotton ball placed it on my eye waiting maybe half a minute and also all my mascara came off!! And because of the way it comes out of the bottle I have control!!
I have tried another product by Gabriel Organics cosmetics and I was really impressed by it. Read that review here: Gentle Exfoliator Review
And this item has me just as impressed. It is really mild, removes your eye makeup. It has Eyebright extract which is known throughout history as a product for brighten your eyes, and other eye issues. I know now that even at full price, I will buy this product again.
Have you been using the same eye makeup remover for ever but looking for a better one? Visit your local natural foods store, you would be surprised what you can find that will be more natural, better for you and your skin. Drives my hubby nuts, we here to shop for food not makeup! lol
Visit Gabriel Organics website and see all that they have to offer. I just did and bought something to do a review on at a later date..
Product for this review was bought by me.
