I was surprised that a simple formula skincare line, has been around for 60 years! Simple skincare that each product only takes a tiny bit to make you skin feel amazing! I wanted to know how long a jar of Yu.Be face cream really does last.
Here is a bit about the brand:
Invented in 1957, Yu-Be is a line of skin care products that address all types of dry skin issues anywhere on the body. Yu-Be is one of the longest and best-selling skin care products in Japan today.
Glycerin-based moisturizing face & body using vitamins & camphor. Yu.Be products have a uniquely high glycerin content (achieved through a special manufacturing process in Japan), which makes Yu-Be moisturizing skin cream so effective on serious dry skin anywhere on the body (including face and lips) and truly sets it apart from other creams.
All the products of Yu.Be have a camphor that goes away quickly. I can handle the scent, which makes it a plus in my books. 😉
Moisturizing Skin Cream -Head-to-toe Hydration – tube
Concentrated glycerin-based moisturizing cream enriched with vitamin E, vitamin B2, and camphor.
Concentrated glycerin moisturizer enriched with Vitamins B2 & E helps hydrate and soothe rough, dry and extremely dry cream.
I really love moisturizing skin care cream in the tube most of all. It makes it so easy to apply it when I want to. I got samples with my products for review, I used up the samples in the tiny tubes first.
Get this, Yu.Be moisturizing cream in the tube was tested with a mountain climber and explorer Sumiyo Tsuzuki who was the first Japanese women to even summit Mt. Everest from the difficult Tibet side in 1998.She also in 2007 was the first Japanese woman to ever ski to South Pole in Antarctica, the lowest point on Earth.
She had hanging on a shoelace a tube of Yu.Be moisturizing skin cream.
Yu-Be is a highly concentrated glycerin moisturizing cream from Japan.
Highly concentrated. Apply a small amount on all dry skin areas of face, lips and body as needed.
I have been testing Yu.Be for at least 2 months now because I wanted to test out for myself just how long it might last. Here is a image of how much I have used.
Can see how much I used? I was surprised just how little I had used!
Moisturizing Body Lotion
The same top-selling Japanese formula from Yu-Be Moisturizing Cream. With the glycerin formula with a unique blend of Vitamin E, B2, and camphor. This provides ideal daily hydration and protection for many troublesome dry skin conditions. The perfect year-round, all-over body moisturizer.
Smooth, easy-to-apply glycerin lotion helps hydrate, soothe and smooth dry, sensitive skin.
The two products I didn’t really care for. I tested both them, using the body polish just once and that was enough for me. 🙁
Yu.Be Body Polish & lip balm
“Fine grains of rice bran combine with bamboo and gentle cleansing agents to create a luxuriously foaming scrub that washes away dry skin.”
I found the body polish to be too rough on my skin. I tried it on my legs, and it was too rough for me, so I didn’t try it on my face. Others might be able to handle it, I didn’t care for it.
Japanese formula lip balm which is enriched with Vitamin E & Aloe. I thought it would as well as did as a lotion. I was disappointed because it was just your basic lip balm I felt it nothing on my lips so I had to apply it more often. It has beeswax in it so I am guessing that is why it doesn’t apply as well as it should. My thoughts anyway.
*I love the tiny sample tubes and I am carrying around with me the moisturizing skin cream in the tube, I can apply it when I want to on my lips and cuticles.*
Luxury skincare that is affordable!
For the price, you are getting an amazing deal! The lip balm is about $5.00 to the body lotion which will run you about $30.00.
