This idea all started because of something I was reading… oh wait a minute!! Ok who took my Playboy? I swear he was right here!!

Not that playboy even thou that would be fun in a dreamy state of mind, so put your brain back into gear ladies. I was talking about this Playboy!

I need a good photo for this post, and I just couldn’t find my bottle of Playboy or my photos!! (btw for real, I really can’t find my bottle!!) So I ask my buddy Nightlynails if she would mind if I used hers, as long as I could use her words too.

I got this crazy idea, have you ever reach to paint your nails only to find your favorite color is missing? You swear it was right there, and bam it is gone!! Now we all know that polish doesn’t have legs so usually that means we moved it or someone else is humm borrowing it, without asking usually.

So here is the contest, for one Playboy I want to hear your craziest story true or not about where you have found one of your polishes. Your roommate borrows it, your boyfriend throws it away cause he just hated the color, he uses it all up and forgets to tell you. You dropped it and it got all over the carpet and now its hiding under the sofa.. You took a trip and left your bottle at the hotel only to have it mailed to you.. come on run wild..
BUT it has to believable enough that it might be true or not.
Here are the rules:

1.   You have to leave a comment of the wildest thing that has ever happen to a bottle of nail polish you own. Don’t care about the brand, just has to be a bottle you own.


2.   Now if you can’t think of anything crazy that has happen for real, make something up.. BUT it has to be believable enough that someone reading it will agree that it really could happen.


3.   Make sure to leave your name, and a way to contact you.

Yes this is open international, no you can’t change your winning Playboy for another color. And we got two to giveaway!! So if there is a tie I have the rights to pick which one is more believable, and I am going to ask NightlyNails to help me with the voting on them.

I don’t know if you remember but back in July I asked for a few bloggers to be guests because I may of had to do a week of jury duty. Well that didn’t happen but I still have a week of amazing bloggers who had fun answering my questions. Here is Stacey Kay owner of http://goodwillhuntingg.com

Tell us a bit about yourself, who you are, what your blog is things like that.

I’m a 23 year old freelance fashion & beauty blogger living in the Cleveland area. I absolutely live and breathe fashion, and have BA in fashion merchandising from Kent State University. I started my blog, Goodwill Huntingg about a year ago, as a means of showing people how they can achieve stellar style on a frugal budget. My biggest passion is thrifting and writing, so blogging is a dream job for me, and I have a lot of fun doing it.

I started as a street style blogger for CollegeFashionista.com about two years ago, and just fell in love with it. About a month before graduation, I started Goodwill Huntingg as a means of attracting potential employers. It worked, but then I decided that writing about fashion was my dream career anyway.

2~ Do you have a set theme for your blog? Or do you have a group of things you like to blog about?

Goodwill Huntingg has a very specific theme and format, and I like to keep it that way. However, I’ve branched out in writing for my clients and also my other columns on ClevelandFreePress.com and Examiner.com/Cleveland. My specialty is definitely thrifting though.

3~ What are the biggest beauty mistakes you see that make you just tell them to go wash their face and start over?

I absolutely hate when girls wear white eyeshadow from lid to brow. I see so much of it, and it just looks so out of place! Eyeshadow needs to be blended correctly, or else it just looks horrible.

4~ Who inspires you in the beauty world?

My beauty inspirations come from the fashion runway, most of the time. I love a really good conceptual hairstyle or makeup style, and then I always wait to see how the beauty editors will break it down for real life. I also enjoy looking at artistic makeup techniques in editorials and stuff like that. Even though it isn’t always practical for everyday use, it’s always nice to view it as more of an art form.

5~ What do you enjoy doing when you are not blogging?

I absolutely love traveling! I’ve done a lot of overseas traveling, from Costa Rica to Hong Kong to Europe, but there is so much to see in the US that I’m focusing more on that now. I’ve recently been discovering some neat places in my own city, as well as taking my first trip to Cincinnati a few weeks ago. Each city has its own special culture, and there is so much to discover if you keep an open mind.

6~ Where do you see yourself in say 3 years now?

Hopefully running a successful online fashion magazine, which is in its beginning stages right now. I love Cleveland, but I’m not sure how long I will be staying. I have an itch to get back to my New York roots soon.

7~ If you knew someone who wanted to start blogging, what kind of advise would you give them?

Blog about something you enjoy, and then run with it! Don’t forget to include a local aspect as well. There’s so many local things that don’t get any press, and blogging is a great way to become a local ‘expert’ on whatever topic you’re writing about! You’ll probably meet some great people while you’re at it!

8~ If you could meet someone in the beauty world right now, who would that be and why?

It’s hard to break it down to just one! I would love to be able to sit backstage at a runway show and talk to the makeup artists about their vision and techniques. The application of someone’s creativity through makeup inspires me so much, and it’s fascinating to hear makeup artists talk about what they are trying to portray through their designs.

9~ Where is your favorite place to shop and get ideas from for future blogging posts?

Most of the inspiration for Goodwill Huntingg comes from the runway or the thrift store. If we’re talking about beauty though, stepping through Sephora is an awesome experience. I could spend hours in there just looking through all the different products. It’s definitely a great experience.

10~ If you could create an eye shadow color, what would it be and what you name it?
