I got really lucky to get in and get Perlier Deluxe 8 piece Travel Kit which comes with four of their most popular scents in shower gels and body lotion.
For the size I was surprised at the size of the samples, deluxe is a for sure!

It comes in four scents:
Pure 100% Certified Organic Shea Butter & Citrus
100% Certified Italian Organic Honey
100% Organic Italian Olive Oil
White Almond with Cold Pressed & Pure Almond Oil
Now I will say out of the four only three I really just loved! In fact before I posted this blog post I have already used up Pure 100% Certified Organic Shea & Citrus shower gel. This one is the best of the set!!

Scent: Soft notes of Citrus- the perfect combination of Lemons, Limes and Oranges to warm it all up.
This one has the softest citrus scent that when you apply the matching body lotion with it just smells amazing! Long lasting.. Yup LOVE IT!
100% Certified Italian Organic Honey
What they say about it:
Scent: Clean pure and soft – great for women, men and children. I really liked this one, because it really soft and not a overbearing scent. Very clean and yeah great for guys (hubby tested and liked)
100% Organic Italian Olive Oil
What they say about:
Scent: Soft and clean – herbal- the perfect scent for mind, body and spirit – similar to the scent you would expect from a Italian SPA. I did like this one, but it reminds me of food, not a spa. But that is just me.. you can smell the herbal in it as well as olive oil.. why I say food.. lol
White Almond with Cold Pressed & Pure Almond Oil
What they say about it:
Scent: Soft Italian Almonds from Sicily, considered to be the best Almonds in Italy. Almond with a touch of mouthwatering Marzipan. I will be really honest, this one is a scent I might see my mom or more like my Nana using. I have asthma and some scents/perfumes set it off .. well this one gave me an asthma attack. Is it a good scent I got no clue. I honestly can’t be anywhere I can smell it. Sorry that is just me. It smells like almonds..

When I saw thermal I thought it was a updated version of mood changing nail polish. Which in a odd way, it is! I have a friend who is crazy about pink and purple and wants it in the same bottle of polish if possible. Well she saw Alice After Eight and was like I MUST HAVE IT!! Well Chrissy the owner of PolishTBH was kind enough to send me a mini bottle when I placed the order for my friend. I didn’t know she was going to.. so I had to play!!

Alice After Eight.. What is it?
“Thermal polish that is purple when below temps of 72 degrees, when warm it is pink. It is a linear holographic with the use of spectraflair. Black light and uv light responsive to a hot pink, and green glow in the dark. Original formula was thick and a one coater. It has since been thinned out and will require at least 3 coats to full opacity. This way the holo is more defined.”
Well fun I did have!! As I was taking photos it took about 5 minutes to go from purple to pink in the sunlight! So here is a series of photos I took as it changed from purple to pink in full sunlight.. enjoy!!

As you can see the purple is staying to fade away ..

What I liked is the holographic in this color seems to be more with the pink than the purple.. if that makes any sense


The pink is coming out stronger now.. and boy pink it is!! (my friend is going to go nuts when she sees this post!) I need to ship her the bottle still..

Woot! Hello Holo!!

AS you can see now, the pink is totally here and the purple is gone. The bottle never changed color, just my nails did. But I have seen it change depending on where I have it sitting. The warmer the bottle, the more pink it is!

**Nail polish was send as a gift

Today we are going to have some fun.. I do not have just one, I have two holos by Above the Curve! Now we all know I love a good holo and have my favorite colors but these are not green.. lol but they are amazing in their own way.
Oh boy here we go its Blue & Red Day!!
First is Blue Raspberry.. its a intense blue holo that just glows in the sunlight! The swatches are three coats, without a top coat. I had no problems with application. This one is part of the Jolly Rancher Collection. From what I understand so is Watermelon.

I did for real, I felt in love with this color the minute I laid eyes on it!

How about a another view? Hello Holo!! I love Jolly Rancher candies and this does remind me of the favor.

Even in the shade it was a wonder to look at..

How could you not wander around looking for sunlight just so you can stare at your nails??
Now Watermelon is a bit different.. its a bright sunny red! I had no problems with application of this one either.

This one a really bright red pink scattered holo.. You can not see any holo effect indoors, once you go outside.. you can see then really lightly there pink/gold holographic shine. Its amazing and really hard to catch in photographs. This was three coats and no top coat..
I was surprised on this one, its so pretty and I don’t even care for most reds..

It was Sunday Mother’s Day morning when I thought of this idea.. if I was going to work tomorrow what would I wear on my nails? So off I went hunting to see what I had that I could swatch with the idea that; I what would I wear to work if I was going to work for someone else?
So here we go..
Coney Island Queen by Palhish Polish
A beautiful nude with a gold shimmer and a flakies.. I checked with Palhish to see if she thought this was a wear to work color, she agreed and that is why its the first one on my list of colors. I figured I would show off colors that even if you do not have the brand, you could find the color.

A color that can be work by just about anyone, and it even works with someone as pale as me.
Juliet by BB Couture

Juliet is a rose creme that is great for everyday work color. Its not too bright and works with just about anyone’s skin tone.
Wicca Willow by Daily Lacquer

Now if that seems a bit too bright, then I decided to matte it. Got to love g’day matte by Picture Polish!

Took the shine away and left it looking a really pretty brown with a bit of green shimmer. It looks even better in person!
Santa Monica Sands by BB Couture

This is a great color! It is a beige tan with shimmer and glitter. Not too much, so its doesn’t take away from the fact this is for work not for play.
Next color I think it fits the go to work colors, but it doesn’t really have a real name.. It was a gift from Ruby White Tips and its called Kym Customs Collection What you can’t tell in the photos its there is just a hint of rose to it.

The reason why it fits the go to work idea is, its a creme rose with just a touch of holo to it. Just enough to add a little character but not lets go crazy holo (that one is coming)
Now if you enjoy wearing pink polish, and even I will wear this next one.. why? Because it has this amazing blue flash that just jumps at you in the sunlight!
Raspberry Cosmo by BB Couture

I was showing off this swatch to a friend of mine who is a barbie pink fan.. (she drooled over the swatch!) and made me promise to ship her a few bottles! To see it in the sunlight?? I was like I could totally see myself wearing this one!
This is a basic brown that has a bit of frost to it:

It really is a pretty brown, and if you don’t care for the frost, hit is with matte top coat or glitter
Now I kinda of saved the best for last.. For those of us who work for ourselves! Woot!
Custom Color by Ruby White Tips (yes another one, also called Custom Kim’s)
Now believe me, working as your own boss can be really tough at times, you want to pull your hair out or you have a super bad bad day and then you get nail mail..

True story too. I was having a pisser of a day and I got nail mail from Ruby White Tips. I had ordered a few colors and she send me this one along as a surprise.. HELLO HOLO!!

This is my kind of go to work color.. holo, silver with a bit of purple.. or its purple with a ton of silver in it.. don’t care love it!

Here is another one cause she just too pretty.. one of those colors that every time you wander into sunlight you spend the next 10 minutes just looking at your nails.. I DOUBLE DARE YOU to tell me you haven’t done that.. I dare ya!

In the shade its beautiful!! I will be doing a review for this one later on
Besides if you work at a job that you sell nail polish all day long? Why wear boring when you can wear…
