Who doesn’t love a little crack to get you going in the morning? Sorry I meant Crack for your hair!!
I been having fun this pass week working with a product called “Crack” which is a hair product you apply to your hair before blow dying to not only protect your hair but to add body, volume and help tame the frizzes.

Now my hair is almost between my shoulder blades, yeah that long. I’m waiting to get a hair trim and highlights on Saturday. But till then I have to work with what I got. My hair bring as long as it is needs help with volume, keeping a full shape and just look nice without curling or flat iron. Growing out stage got to love them!!
So this is where Crack has been really honestly helping me deal with this in-between growing out straight!
You only need a little bit to make it work its magic. And I mean only a bit, my hair as long it is I’m using a big pea size.

And that can be too much if I don’t apply it just right.
Hair issues who doesn’t have them right? Mine I don’t like one my hair in my face when I’m trying to work and two if the front of my hair doesn’t look nice I’m washing it. Don’t care you shouldn’t wash your hair every day, if I can’t make it look right I’m not fighting with trying to curl it. I wash it instead.
Which means I have been using Crack for your hair just about every day. You would think I would be getting some kind of buildup of stuff on my hair making it look greasy, but nope!!
What I do is after washing it with sulfate free shampoo and conditioner and let my hair stay in the towel for about ten minutes or so while I do other stuff. Then I pat my hair with the towel remove more water if possible. I never rub my hair do you?
Now I get tangles so I use the best detangles out there by Reviva Labs. It helps so I can run a comb through my hair.
Then in applying the Crack into the palm of my hands and rub my hands together to get the Crack all over my hands. I bend so all my hair is over my head and I work the Crack into my hair starts at my ends and working my way up throughout all my hair trying hard not too get too much on my bangs. Then I blow dry my hair till its almost dry and flip my hair back over so I can work with a brush and my hair dryer. At this point I can see the added volume to my hair. Using my round brush I finish blow drying my hair using the nice cool shoot my dryer hair. Usually I do my bangs and my hair around my face but I can give myself curls with my brush!!
Its light weight easy to use, gives you volume, even helps your hair on the worse weather. I have no build up to weigh my hair down. I love what it does!

FRAAS never cease to amaze me with their brand of scarf’s!

I wandered into my local Walgreens because I needed a Birthday card. I never walk by the beauty products without looking to see what they may have new. And or what was on sale in their more natural products area. I came across a brand called Eclos plant-based Beauty products. They only had I think 6 available at Walgreens but when I looked online it looks like there is 8 total in the whole line.

Why? Well you see I understand what they are talking about in the importance of plant stem cells and where they are getting them from. There is this Swiss Apple that has skin that has the most amazing rejuvenation abilities, that can do amazing things for your skin. Most products that have these type of plant stem cells in them are way out of most people’s price range of what they are willing to spend or can afford to spend on their personal skincare.

You can’t see it that well but its got these tiny bead-like ingredients that really do their job amazingly! Now most facial scrubs have a problem depending, they either dry out your face and make it tight, or they don’t do their job as well as you feel they should. The ones that are gentle enough to use every day? They just don’t seem to do the job I want done. Its not that I want a layer of skin taken off my face, but I do want to know and feel that its worked. What does it look like?

It comes in a pump and I found that two pumps into my hand is enough for my face and neck. Now I have read a few reviews on some of the big beauty sites that customers have had issues of it getting into their eyes, or itchy. I have not found that to be a issue, one I don’t use it with my eye cream and do I got pretty tough skin. Does it do what it says it does? Oh you bet it does!! It feels a little drying not like most serums I have tested out lately. Its goes into your face fast, just apply your moisturizer over it, along with your sunscreen and you are good to go! I love waking up in the morning without having a super dry face feel. Having skin over 40 at times its just no fun..

I know like many of you out there, there has got to be a ton of different shapes of bottles that hold nail polish. WOO HOO POLISH!!. If you love indie brands or brands that are not own by OPI, Or ESSIE or anyone like that, you are going to run into lots of different types and styles of bottles. Some bottles are worth having the bottle more so than the polish. anywhoo..

See what I mean? From tiny ones like I got from GirlyBits (more about those later) to big squares by Glitter Gal to the really odd one by ciate..
What is the LadyBug Spill Proof Nail Polish Holder? Its a really simple idea, it holds your polish so that when you are busy applying it you don’t have to worry about spilling it all over. I have dropped many a bottle, believe me!

Its a round item with foam inside it. The foam is what holds your polish.. Which is nice because it can get bigger if need be.

The black circles you see in the image? That is what holds the LadyBug in place so you don’t spill your polish. But I did find that it rocks if the polish is too light.

So what did I do? I tested it out on the different sizes of bottles that I had to see which ones will not fit.. That is right, won’t fit!
I found that the 15ML size by Glitter Gal do not fit, nor does that odd one by ciate.. I got three different sizes of just square bottles of polish..

I forgot to name the bottles in the image, from left to right “Jade” by Picture Polish, “Technology & Romance” by Victoriana , Dermelect Launch Nail Strengthener.

Out of the three square bottles the one that was the most problem pushing it in was the Dermelect.. Due to the fact its a fatter square bottle.
Now I did find that the style of Zoya bottles because the have that nice curve base, they slide right it nicely! As did the Ozotic one I tested with and even the little bottle of Glitter Gal.
Most shapes were not a problem..
The bigger round ones I have fit right inside great!
BUT if you own a few tiny ones.. (GirlyBits rock!) then you are going to run into a problem. I did.. They are too light for the LadyBug to sit on its side so that you can use it that way.
So what I did to see if there was a way to use the LadyBug with the tiny bottles. It took me some time playing around with it, but I did! What you do is you put the foam as you see in the photo below:

And you put the bottles in about half way. That way it helps the LadyBug sit on its side so you can use it without spilling your polish or dropping the bottle.
Now this item you see in the next image I got off eBay for about $1.00 I think.. And its just your basic nail polish holder.. its a pain the butt to use, the bottles get stuck in it, and its just well..

As one of my doctors once said about a arm brace “One size fits no one” And that pretty much tells you what I think of this one..
