Mother’s day has always been a day that each of us show our appreciation for all the ladies in our lives. Still, not all guys know just what their special lady may like. Just because she is married to you or it’s your mom, gifts still should come from the heart.

Here are a few gift ideas for guys to give their special lady.

1~ There is the old stand by, card, flowers and or chocolates. These gifts are always good but if this is what you gave last year why not look for something new?

2~ Why not create a coupon book filled with things you know she would love?
Ideas for such a coupon book can be:

Clean the bathroom without complaining
Take the children out for lunch by yourself
Wash the family car
Give her a gift card for her favorite nail care salon
Take her out to dinner
Give a back massage

Put these in a simple notebook and offer it with your gift of flowers. Talk about a special surprise! If you have children have them help decorate the note book with hearts and crayons.

3~ Many stores and websites have personalized gift baskets. You might be able to create or have created a gift basket with all her favorite bath and body goodies. Body lotions, bath bubbles, bath puff, bath salts, bath pillows, candles, shower gels, body scrubs, body soaps can all be in her favorite scent. Gift wrapping may be offered as well.

4~ Take the children out and help them find a simple gift that they can gift wrap themselves. A candle is a great idea for this. Taking time with your children is good for you as well, and helping them find the special gift for mom helps them show their love. Showing mom they love her is the best gift they could ever give.

5~ New wife who maybe having a baby soon? Why not check with her doctor and see if she is able to have a pedicure done? It’s a great gift for anyone who maybe pregnant to have someone pamper their feet for them. It’s very relaxing and soothing when you know she has swollen ankles and feet.

6~ Single guys? Why not take your mom out to dinner? Just because you might be single and there isn’t a special lady in your life, your mom would still love to see you. Doesn’t matter how old you might be, your mom will always be part of your life, taking her out to dinner is the best gift you could give. She would love to hear what is going on in your life.

Mother’s Day may come around only once a year doesn’t mean you can’t show her you love her everyday with simple things. Give a helping hand and show her you appreciate all that she does everyday is the best gift you can give no matter if it’s your mom or wife.

What a question huh? We all have trouble sleeping but some of us have more trouble than others. As someone who’s husband works odd shifts, I totally understand those who need to sleep during the day because of work. Anyone who has the night shift at times just can’t get to sleep during the day. Why? Biggest problem is well its light outside! If you need total darkness to sleep then sleeping during the day can be almost too hard to do. Not all eye masks you may buy will give you total darkness. Bummer..

We all know that REM sleep is the best sleep to have. That is when you are asleep so deep that your eyes move and your total body relaxes. You get your best sleep when you can have your REM sleep. Those that sleep during the day have the problem of being to A get to sleep and B stay asleep. There is always something to can stop them from sleeping deep enough for REM.

I ask those amazing people over at Pendergrass Inc about what do they offer that would help those the best with not being able to sleep do to the fact its just too light outside. And if they are traveling, what can they use that would help their sleep? Or what could they wear on the airplane to block out the light so that they can at least rest while the plane was in the air? I was told about the “Lights Out” Eye Mask that I happen to offer would be the best for anyone who needs darkness to sleep with. Why I ask? Well one the Eye Mask has velcro straps to make so it will fit any head. The eye mask itself was specially designed to allow for complete and free eye movement during sleep and your resting cycle. How was that possible I asked.

I was thinking about what a cool gift idea this would be for anyone! Got college age kids who are up all night and need to get some sleep before class? Great gift for them as well.
