Mother’s Day is an ideal occasion to express your love for your mom and to show her gratitude for her constant and unconditional love and support. You can start thinking about gift baskets, and trips to the spa, what can your children give her?
I thought of a few ideas for you.
How about some ideas for those of you with children and don’t have idea what to give their mom that comes straight from a young child’s heart. Here are a few simple but easy ideas for Mother’s Day.
For those of you who have young ones. 🙂
1~ There is a plaster of Paris that you can buy from any crafts store that you can create a memory for a lifetime.
Little hands with their names and ages and the year it was created would go over wonderfully.
That is also a great gift idea for the grandmother on your list as well.
2~ Even better for that grandmother who lives away to create a simple video by using your phone and a bit of fun! Great way to make their grandmother smile!
3~ Create a photo album with the kids doing all those silly things kids do that you know you have a picture of somewhere.
4~ With each child, putting a sample note or just an X for their names will make her one happy Grandmother indeed.
Any Scrap bookers out there? Why not put your kids to work creating a page of what they have been doing for grandma?
And then you put them in a simple photo album you can pick up at any dollar store and put that in the mail for her or give to her. Depending on where she lives.
5~ Another thing that a child could do is bake some cookies and give them to mom or grandma, or would you like to teach those kids that kindness counts?
7~ Call up your local nursing home and ask if there is anyone who would be happy to get presents for children on Mother’s day. Making sure it’s for a woman who may not have kids of her own or those kids don’t visit her that often.
You really want to light up the eyes of an elderly woman by doing something as simple as baking extra cookies? You would be surprised just how much that would mean to her. You and your children may even really enjoy the doing it and do it for more holidays.
Since Mother’s Day is coming up soon, start thinking about what you can do to help your little ones show how much they love their mom/grandmother or even adopted one.
Give your children memories they will share with their children.
