As the day begins, you are awakened by the pain…
It follows you throughout your day like an evil stalker…
Reminding you that it’s there…
Just move wrong, and it strikes, like an evil monster from the deep…
You move slower as if you are hiding from it
Reminding yourself, as if it’s just a bad dream and you will wake up
But how do you wake up without being in pain?
In the dark of night it wakes you up, reminding you again it’s there
Just so you can’t forget you are…
Living with the pain…
Storm clouds seem to begin to hover over you, as the more pain begins trying to take hold…
Like a sickness that just won’t go away,
It’s clinging to your every move, like a burning deep in your bones…
You try to befriend if it’s possible
Trying to bargain with it so it will just leave you alone for a few minutes
Living with the pain…
Still every move you make, it’s there reminding you
You fight it with all your will, your desire to stop it, calm it down
make behave like a child you are sending to its corner for misbehaving
Till one day,
finally, you just give in…
Living with the pain…
As you grow older, it becomes the only friend you have left
A constant reminder, your days will never be without your all consuming painful friend,
But…
It is also a reminder that you’re still here…
A painful friend that true, but at the same time letting you know
You’re still alive, so stay determined not to give in to its daily reminder.

Now, the pain could be a number of things.
The pain could be because you are heartbroken, and it feels like it will never get any better. Or like myself, I am over 60, and I have a knee that needs to be replaced, and lived through 3 car accidents, but not without damage to my body. And as we grow older, little pains of the past, seem to become bigger ones. So living with the pain, isn’t just about your body, It’s also about your soul and your missing love. It is about anything and anyone who causes you pain..
