ACURE Unicorn Shimmer Shampoo & Conditioner Hair Care Review

Yes I did, I bought shampoo and conditioner because it was called Unicorn Shimmer. Now hear me out there was a very good reason.. oh ok yes its because it was called Unicorn Shimmer but there really is more to it. You are never too old to still believe in unicorns 🙂 For starters its by a brand called ACURE and they usually have really good overall vegan products.

My thoughts:
Silly me!! Why  didn’t I think that if its got shimmer in the name it has shimmer in the shampoo and conditioner? Ops it does! But what I found interesting is, it foams up like crazy! For a product that is 100% vegan? That really blew my mind. Not to crazy about the scent but what it does for my hair? OH My Gosh.. my hair loves it!! (The shimmer is pretty cool to see in the shampoo and conditioner but I don’t think you see it on your hair)

My thoughts:
What they say about the shampoo and conditioner is about the same. There is shimmer in both but your hair doesn’t show it. What it does it leaves my hair super soft and my blond hair lights pop out! Now I need my highlights and my color redone but I was really surprised just how much better it looks and feels. My hair has been driving me nuts because its been a bit dry and lifeless. Once I started using the shimmer shampoo and conditioner my hair is back feeling baby soft again. I love this brand of hair care!!

You can get it worldwide at Wholefoods – on Amazon and I found it at my local Sprouts. The price is about the same at all same places, so each will run you about just under $12.00. Not bad for a hair care product for sure. As a believer in using as much products I can that are cruelty free and if at all possible vegan.
Now I have tried a few of ACURE brand hair products before. I will have to say I have tried another one if their conditioners and I didn’t like it. But I think it was just because it was one of the ingredients was too strong.

You are never too old to not believe in unicorns and they are using real unicorn root in these hair care products.
BTW there is such a thing as unicorn root. I looked it up. 🙂
