I offer vegan mineral loose powder eyeshadows over at Overall Beauty Minerals, and I get asked often, what kind of makeup brushes do I use? I get the question often because many of my newer customers have never used loose powder eyeshadows before, but are looking for a better, cleaner and vegan mineral eyeshadows. Many are finding that they have bad reactions to pressed eyeshadows, or major brands makeup. And I totally get it! 😀

I have a collection of makeup brushes that I have bought over the years. Last year I decided to buy a set of brushes that came with their own holder and all totally vegan!  What is even better? They are very very affordable! I was gifted a set of makeup brushes which I really like, so when I decided to do this makeup brush review?
I went looking for the brand on, where else? AMAZON! Well, I found the set but its not available and it was only a 10 piece set, and I can’t recommend it unless you don’t mind paying a higher price ($28.00) if you can even find them. That makes sense, but I rather recommend makeup brushes that are affordabe AND good and easy to use!

What of the neat things about the makeup brush brand – BS-MALL they have lots of choices to choose from on Amazon! I bought a set with gold handles. For get this, under $10 dollars! It is a 18 piece set that has brushes I will probably never use, but nice to have 😉
What brushes do they have? Too many, with quick few I will never use 😛
What are they made of?

Now I didn’t have this issue but they also added this: Sometimes the makeup brushes smell like paint because they stayed in plastic bag for a long time. That just tells me that they sent their stock to Amazon so it can be shipped out really fast if you have Prime! But they also give you tips of removing the smell.
Which is pretty simple to do so.
Just wash the brushes with a baby shampoo, which I do anyway and dry them with paper towels, and place them on their side to dry out.
Major Tip for you!
Never wash your brushes, and let them dry out standing up, you can get water into the area where the brush is glued to the base of the handle. After time, you will get enough water in that area, and then your makeup brush will become useless to use. So laying them on their side to dry is the best way. 😀
